The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Natural Resources/Cultural Resources is recruiting for: ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIAN II [HR-23-137] (Full-time/Lapwai). Responsible for the collection of archaeological data under the supervision of the Archaeological Crew Leader, Field Archaeologist, or the Tribal Archaeologist. Works almost exclusively in a field environment. Some fieldwork may be conducted during the winter months. Assists with archaeological surveys, testing, data recovery, and construction monitoring. Office work will consist of data entry, processing of recovered artifacts, writing construction monitoring memos, and contributing to short reports. Requires two (2) years of college education (48 credits). Three (3) years of relevant experience is equivalent to one (1) year of college. Requires one (1) year of related experience to project needs and six (6) months leadership experience. Class/job description available at the NPT Human Resources Department.
