The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Natural Resources/Cultural Resources is recruiting for: ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIAN I [HR-23-138] (Full-time/Lapwai). Responsible for the collection of archaeological data under the supervision of the Archaeological Crew Leader, Field Archaeologist, or the Tribal Archaeologist. Works almost exclusively in a field environment. Some fieldwork may be conducted during the winter months. Assists with archaeological surveys, testing, data recovery, and construction monitoring. Office work will consist of data entry, processing of recovered artifacts, writing construction monitoring memos, and contributing to short reports. Class/job description available at the NPT Human Resources Department. The Nez Perce Tribe is a drug free work environment, pre-employment drug testing required.
