Asotin County Community Services needs one full-time direct support staff to provide on-the-job coaching for a growing cohort of high school students with disabilities who will be starting their first paid work experiences. Direct support staff also work with adults with disabilities experiencing employment for the first time or re-entering employment after an extended absence. The successful candidate is energetic and positive with the ability to provide support to individuals with disabilities at various locations (agency vehicles provided). Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook, along with excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential assets for this position. This is a fully benefited, union position. Wage is $16.78 - $19.09 per hour/35 hours per week, under collective bargaining. 3 Medical plans to choose from, Dental, Vision, Pension, Deferred Compensation, 11 Holidays +1 Floating Holiday, Vacation, and Sick leave.
